I first began helping people recover from disasters professionally in 1999, when I became a Public Adjuster in the State of Texas. We soon found that our joint passion passion to help people fit in well with my own construction and negotiation experience. The ability of property owners to have their own personal adjuster working for them, provides substantial relief, emotional support, accurate assessments, and the freedom to not have to take on the many claim issues personally.
Over the years I have helped many private home owners, condominium associations, government, and business with their claims. Eventually, I came to realize that time is limited and the needs are too great. With that in mind, I spent six months of my life writing a book, researching and highlighting my hard earned lessons to give to people in need.
My wife Julie and I have been married 36 years. She has a wonderful ability to offer encouragement and support to those that are going through an insurance claim loss. Julie is a graduate of the University of Rochester in NY. Together we have raised four children.

In the fall of 2016 my brick house was damaged by a speeding car that struck the front of my home. An insurance company representative visited to assess the damage. This “senior” insurance representative submitted his observations and estimate of repair, and was about to issue payment.
